INTERNSHIPS
OVERVIEW
Compass has an outstanding internship and leadership development program for junior and senior college students and recent college graduates who are interested in ministry.
OUR GOAL is to equip students and graduates, age 20-25, who have the academic background but want to enrich their skills and experiences and broaden their opportunities.
OUR STRATEGY is to provide interns with hands-on training directly from our senior pastor and a staff of passionate ministry leaders who are committed to developing and placing young people into key ministry positions around the world.
Compass provides a great training ground for those who aren’t interested in a standard church environment. Over 50% of the people who attend Compass don’t have any church background and are still trying to figure out God and Jesus and faith. They come because they’re searching and they appreciate an environment that welcomes them, answers their questions without judgment, and allows them to be honest about their doubts.
KEY ELEMENTS
The internship is a 9-12 month program. Interns are provided with free room & board at our intern house and work approximately 25 hours per week in their chosen area. Internships are available in youth ministry, children's ministry, music ministry and tech ministry.
