About Us
Ken Brooks
Ken grew up in Salem and says, “I was a juvenile delinquent in my early teens.” But he joined the Marine Corp in 1966 and “That fixed me!” Ken is an avid outdoorsman – who fishes & hunts whenever he can.
Ken married his wife Janet in 1970. They originally met when Janet was 3 years old. Ken was running though his parents house and Janet remembers thinking, “He’s cute!” They both laugh that they were “betrothed at birth.” Their parents were best friends and Ken is named after Janet’s dad and her brother is named after Ken’s dad.
Both of them love every minute they get to spend with their two grown children (Adam, who’s married to Lisa, and Sarah, who’s married to Shawn) and five grandkids.
