About Us
Kelley Jones
Kelley is part of the Compass Teaching Team and also leads our Core Group Ministry and Men's Ministry. He was born in Marks, Mississippiwas born in Marks, Mississippi, but grew up in Yakima, WA and Eugene, OR. He went to college at Judson Baptist College in Portland where he hooked up with his wife of 33 years, Kathy... He graduated from Corbin College in Salem and spent the next 30 years in ministry as a youth and senior pastor. They have three kids, Kimberley 28, Katie 25 and Kip 23 and one grandkid, Patrick.
Presently he is a Mentor at Bridges Boys Academy in Sisters Oregon where he works with “at risk teens” and their families developing life and parenting skills. Kelley and Kathy are involved with a great Core Group and enjoy being “empty nesters!”
