Jeff Nelson
Jeff keeps us updated on Sunday morning with the Compass Calendar. He has been married for 23 years to Maggie (she is currently on active duty with the National Guard in Afghanistan) and has three kids – Robert, Valerie and Kara. Jeff met Maggie in 1983 while both were U.S. Navy Journalists stationed in Tokyo. Jeff grew up in a cul de sac in Bellevue, WA. While he was overseas in the Navy a small company called Microsoft bought up all the land behind his house and ruined all the cool bike trails. The Nelsons moved to Central Oregon from Lynden, WA in 2003 and have been coming to Compass since day one. Jeff is Bend’s #1 Radio DJ and does the morning radio show on 105.7 KQAK and the afternoon show on LITE 95.1.
