About Us
Drew & Kathy Price
Drew and Kathy love the time they spend serving on the Ministry Advisory Team. Drew is the founding pastor at Compass. He was born and raised in Sacramento, California and lived there until he left for college at Cal Poly in San Luis Obispo. After graduation, he worked for Pacific Bell while he received his masters degree in organization development from the University of San Francisco. Drew and Kathy, have been married for 26 years and have three incredibly gorgeous and talented daughters: Amanda, Jenny & Emily. Drew spent the first 18 years of his career in the corporate world. Several years ago, he and Kathy made the leap into full time ministry and have never looked back. Besides leading Compass, Drew consults with several churches and Christian organizations around the country in the areas of leadership development and outreach. He’s a big sports fan and enjoys football, basketball, golf and mountain biking.
Kathy was born in Evanston, Illinois but grew up in Coulee Dam, Washington and Sacramento, California. She graduated from Sacramento State University with a degree in Home Economics (something Drew & the kids have always appreciated… especially the “heart-shaped” meat loaf on Valentine’s Day). She earned her teaching credential a year later and taught for a couple years before moving on to become Director of Family Management for the Price household. Kathy enjoys leading a Bible study and also serves on the Women’s Ministry Leadership Team. In 2005, Kathy launched Kathy’s Kitchen – a business providing personal chef services for families and catering services for corporate executive teams.
