About Us
BRANDON & NIChOLE HAVERLAND
Brandon & Nichole work with Ian and the Powerhouse volunteer staff to create a high energy, Biblically based program that brings kids eagerly back week after week. Brandon & Nichole have two children, Salem (4) and Jaxon (2), and love serving and working with kids. Brandon was born in Salem, OR and Nichole in the prickly, hot state of Arizona. They met in their junior year of high school, were baptized together the summer after graduating, and married a year later.
Nichole went to cosmetology school and became a hair dresser, yet nowadays she’s a professional mother – with a side career as a Child and Family Photographer. Brandon is a pilot with ExpressJet Airlines, based in Los Angeles (now there’s a commute!). But when he’s at home, he loves cooking and helping Nichole with her photography sessions. Brandon & Nichole are both (obviously) very busy… but they better start resting up… because they still want more lil’ Haverland’s!

Being that they are all self-help books, should I really get into it??? Currently “Parenting: From Surviving to Thriving” by Charles Swindoll.

People I Would Love To Spend A Day With:
A day, more like everyday! It maybe stereo-typical or even expected, but my best friend Brandon (he IS also my husband… I am so blessed!). Or maybe for something different, Natalie Portman. She is amazingly intelligent, of course gorgeous, but what does that matter to me? Every interview I’ve heard or read of her I am captivated.
